Autopsy: Volume I is a split release containing the artists House Of The Lie, Scorched Earth Policy Lab and Cody Drasser. It is the first split release in a planned series

House Of The Lie (Ben Roe Jr. of Caulbearer) offers up the malevolently dark track "Derelict Haze." A tense and brooding foray into a landscape of unimaginable suffering, lost souls and corpse-resurrecting death rituals. Cosmic horrors perfectly set to terrifying dark ambient music. A bleak and hopeless scenario for all who find themselves involved.

The darkness continues as Scorched Earth Policy Lab (Thierry Arnal) lends his enviable talents to the track "45ų 49' 13'' North, 6ų 31' 03'' East." An ill wind blows through the forest of decaying mechanical plants as bioluminescent insects cast their eerie glow on rotting, irreparably broken machines. Bright radioactive eyes clandestinely peer out from the somber canopy as the distant rumble of explosions echo in the vast distance.

After much grim uncertainty, Cody Drasser (Caulbearer, Shrike Totem) brings the somewhat playfully optimistic track "Octopus Mating Ritual." Endlessly manipulated and twisted guitar peals adventurously ring out and mimic the cries and calls of strange sprites and other nameless creatures. Hypnotic rhythms intertwine themselves in and amongst the ever growing pulse of alien beauty, eventually fading out until only the most minute and microscopic of biologic processes can be heard carrying out their fascinating functions.
