about

Dreams & Madness.

Two long form tracks of droning, dark ambient experimentation.

"The Slow Crawl Of Madness" leads us on an ever-darkening and disturbing descent into madness and insanity. Inspired by occult practices, black magic, evil forces and cosmic horror, this track is one of Caulbearer's most ominous and ultimate odes to the malevolent forces that swirl behind the veil of reality. Dedicated to the beings and entities that will eventually cause us all to begin frothing at the mouth with fear and terror as we slowly go stark raving mad with knowledge that should not have ever been bestowed upon us.

"Dreaming Beneath Ancient Oceans" is the antidote to the anxiety-inducing sounds of the track that precedes it. A gauzy, ethereal journey into the tumbling, chaotic deep of a churning, antediluvian sea. Churning waves of sweeping, aquatic, ambient grandeur draw you deeper and deeper into its forgotten depths. Archaic structures buried by time, creatures never known to have existed and other similarly alluring visions entice and accompany you on your way to a place beyond the physical reaches of mankind.
